Azerbeidzjan heeft zijn vandaag zijn kandidaat en song bekend gemaakt. Voor het eerst sinds 2009 koos de omroep in Azerbeidzjan om intern een kandidaat aan te duiden. De keuze viel op Elnur Hüseynov die in 2008 het land al heeft vertegenwoordigd samen met Samir. Acht jaar later zal Elnur alleen het land vertegenwoordigen. Hij zal naar Wenen trekken met het nummer Hour of the wolf.
